About Us
Hello. It is our pleasure to introduce ourselves to you. Rebecca and I were born and raised right here in Maine. We grew up mostly in the Bangor area. Our journey together started during the high school years and in youth groups. We have now been married for 28 years and have been blessed with three boys and a girl. The year 2007 was a year of faith as me and my family moved down to VA. I earned a degree while in VA and learned more emphatically how to trust in God. We returned to Winterport, Maine in 2010 where I served in my first pastorate at Winterport Baptist Church for a period of over 10 years. A new chapter opened up for my family and ministry at Maine Coast Baptist Church. In November of 2020 we began a fresh start here and look forward to serving our church and our Lord in the greater Ellsworth community. We will pray and labor and watch God do the work!
A little bit more about the family
Family size= presently there are 4 of us living as a family together. Our oldest son lives in Nashville with his wife Kat! Our second to the oldest lives primarily in Lynchburg, VA!
Males= Dad, Caleb
Females= Mom, Lauren
Pets= a turtle that seems to want to live forever and two dogs (Sadie-female and Rangeley-male......Sadie is queen) and we also have two hamsters.
Schooling= this year the 2 school aged kids attend Bangor Christian Schools
Like-able activities= hiking, shopping, watching Little House on the Prairie and cooking shows, hanging out with friends and family, drinking coffee, riding around on our ATV, reading, music, coastal beach trips
Favorite foods= ice cream, Momo's cheesecake, lobster, a good burger/steak, Mexican, breakfast foods, barbecue, homemade breads/rolls, pies, curry foods
Favorite Maine vacation= spending time at our families camp on Rangeley Lake
Favorite verses= Prov. 3:5-6, John 14:6, Phil 1:6
Favorite sports teams= Patriots, Celtics, Red Sox
Our technology brand of choice= Apple
Favorite music style= all different kinds but least favorite is country, classical, jazz
Holidays we like most= Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving
Favorite Christmas movie for laughs= Elf
Favorite animated cartoon= Sponge Bob, Tom 'n Jerry
Disney series we really enjoy= Mandalorian (little Yoda is a hit)
What we don't mind watching in TV black 'n white, Andy Griffith Show
Hat and mittens or T-shirt and shorts= we prefer T-shirt and shorts (we like warm weather)
A favorite hike= Bald Mtn. in Oquossoc, ME
